This 10" Botanical Art has a coating of Epoxy Resin that gives it a beautiful shine. Two impressions of a moth with light silver and blue touches appear to be floating in air. The Silver Dragonfly with a pretty blue "forget me not" flower in the centre adds that extra touch. This beautiful piece hangs from a piece of driftwood found on the shores of Cold Lake. The nibble marks of a beaver can still be seen on the edges. Impression Art of Botanicals is so unique. When you press Botanicals into Clay and pour in plaster, you get a "reverse" impression of each part of the plant that you may not even notice otherwise. My Field of Dreams Collection each has beautiful Wheat stocks, highlighted in gold. The clay was coloured in a soft yellow tone that makes you feel as if you are standing outside in the fields themselves.
